Leaving, left, gone

Two and half years. It's amazing when I think of it.
Time flew by.
I write this with a pinch of saddness, I made good friends here in Kuwait.
Kuwait is a place that's misjudged. Many people claim "there's nothing to do in Kuwait" but that's so wrong. Many people claim that Kuwaitis don't mingle with expats, that's wrong too. Kuwait is only different in that you are the one who should make the effort to make things happen.
I've led an interesting life here in Kuwait. My wife and I never sat bored at home (ok, except the liberation and national days where it's hell to go out, give you that) we always had something to do.
You can choose your friends in Kuwait and we made some very good ones.
I like Kuwait and will be sad to go, I won't miss Marina Mall or the 60 Starbucks shops or Sultan Center, but will miss the people, the expats and Kuwaitis.

Whoever reads this will know I say goodbye with a sad heart, no mushy mushy but trully, I will miss you guys.

I'll keep my blog in Dubai, I'll be in touch and will see you again.

Big bear hugs to you all, you know who you are.

Love.
